Working Document of the 14th Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops

Catholic World News - July 01, 2015

The Vatican has released an English translation of the instrumentum laboris, or working document, of the 14th Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops, which will take place in October and be devoted to “the vocation and the mission of the family in the Church and in the contemporary world.”

The working document, released in Italian on June 23, has three parts: “considering the challenges of the family,” “the discernment of the family vocation,” and “the mission of the family today.”

It is  important and good to be aware of the ideas that will be discussed by the Bishops at the upcoming synod. This link will give you the English translation as well as those for French,  German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish
