The Parishioners of Corpus Christi, Toronto

Daily Mass (Tues-Fri): 9 am • Saturday (Vigil): 5 pm • Sunday: 9:30 am and 11 am

Dear Corpus Christians.

A short note to tell you that Fr Henry Menezes, ex-pastor/administrator of Corpus Christi passed away on May 11, 2016 in Mumbai, India. Parishioners of Corpus Christi will remember Fr Henry at the daily mass at 9 am on Friday May 20th.

There will also be an archdiocesan memorial service here in Canada at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at St. Ignatius Loyola, 2300 Burnhamthorpe Rd W, Mississauga.

Fr Henry was born in 1935, the son of Borges & Sabina Menezes and he had seven siblings.

Among other postings, he served as Principal of St. Mary's and St. Elias High Schools in Mumbai. The funeral photograph below is from the mass, as Fr Henry was carried to his final rest, by his brother priests. It was shared with me by my brother Fr Nigel who attended the mass.

Fr Henry was a gentle, kind and simple pastor and he will be missed. May his soul rest in peace.
