Event Description

The annual World Day of Prayer will be hosted by Waverly Road Baptist Church (129 Waverley Rd) on Friday March 3rd at 7 pm. This year's event celebrates the women of the Philippines. All are welcome to join this ecumenical service. This ecumenical service appropriately follows the recent visit made by our Holy Father Pope Francis to the Anglican church of All Saints in Rome. He is the first pontiff in history to visit an Anglican parish within his own diocese. For more information please call Suzanne Beard at 416-693-8414. You can read more about the remarkable and prayerful history of this annual day of worship by visiting this link.
