COVID-19 UPDATE (March 1, 2022)

For churches in the Archdiocese of Toronto, starting on March 1, 2022, capacity limits at churches, including physical distancing requirements, have been removed. Masks will continue to be worn until we are directed otherwise by medical and health officials (as throughout the pandemic some limited medical exemptions may apply). Physical contact (for examples the shaking of hands at the Sign of Peace) will is discouraged at this time. Hand sanitizer use is encouraged and will continue. Choirs and cantors may return to regular duties, but are required to wear masks and maintain physical distancing from each other. Congregational singing is now permitted and hymnals have been returned to the pews for your use. In consultation with medical officials, most other restrictions will also be lifted as of March 1, 2022.

Cardinal Collins says in his message to the entire archdiocese (read the full message here), "The Eucharist remains the source and summit of our life in Christ. For Christians, participation in the Sunday Eucharist is the central experience of the week, and that is the foundation for the obligation of every Catholic to be personally present at Mass every Sunday. Of course, if there is a legitimate reason (such as being sick) this obligation does not apply."

ONLINE MASS: Livestreamed Mass will continue to be available online. Sunday Mass will be live-streamed at 11 am and all Weekday Masses from Tuesday to Friday will be live-streamed at 9 am on YouTube (

Weddings, funerals and baptisms

Weddings, funerals and baptisms will now be restricted to 10 persons, including those who are involved in ministry (priest, cantor, etc.). First Holy Communions and Confirmations will need to be postponed at this time.

Welcome to Corpus Christi's parishioner community website

This parishioner site is a "private social network".  Located at 1810 Queen Street East in The Beach in Toronto, the parish of Corpus Christi is home to a vibrant, active Catholic community. The Church was built in 1927 and was declared a heritage building by the City of Toronto in 1973. In addition to beautiful stained glass by Italian-Canadian master Guido Nincheri, the church houses a mural by the Canadian painter William Kurelek whose works also hang in the AGO. The Choir of Corpus Christi is one of the best-kept musical secrets in Toronto. Every Sunday at 11 am, this talented amateur choir under the baton of musical director and organist Paul Dick, leads the congregation and visitors in beautiful liturgical music as the Mass is celebrated. Corpus Christi was assigned the school chaplaincy for St Denis Catholic School in 2014 during the tenure of then-pastor Msgr Bianco and these duties are now carried out by our current pastor Fr. Faustino Kusoka. Bishop Robert Kasun oversees the zone in which Corpus Christi falls.

New parishioners, please be aware that becoming a member of this parishioner-run community site is not the same as parishioner registration.
