Welcome to Corpus Christi's parishioner community website

the Sunday Mass live-streamed

from Corpus Christi

at 11 am every Sunday.

On Friday, March 12th, 2021, the provincial government announced that parishes in the Grey (Lockdown) Zone – including Corpus Christi – will be permitted to open for religious services at 15 percent of their capacity.

The dispensation from our Sunday obligation remains until further notice. The elderly and those with compromised immune systems or other health conditions are encouraged to exercise extreme caution about any outings, including attendance at church.

NEW! Sunday Masses

In-person Sunday Masses will begin from March 21, on Saturday evening at 5 pm, Sunday morning at 9 am and 11 am. Please note that the 9:30 am Sunday Mass will be moved to 9 am. The 11 am Mass will be the only Sunday Mass that will be both, live-streamed, and in-person. For the purpose of contact tracing, please register via Eventbrite for one ticket, either as one person (if you intend to attend on your own), or one ticket for your family/social bubble of up to 5 persons if you will come with more people, for all the weekday and weekend Masses.

If you don’t know how to preregister via Eventbrite, call the office during the week to register via phone. If you don’t register, you may be allowed to enter, but only if there are spots available and our capacity limits permit it, but we will have to sign you in, and that might create a line up which we'd prefer to avoid.

If you decide not to attend after booking a ticket, please cancel your ticket via the link in your registration email (or by phone during office hours if you preregister via phone). This allows someone else to have that in-person spot.

If you think you might have been exposed to Covid-19, or feel sick, please stay home.

Weddings, funerals and baptisms

Weddings, funerals and baptisms will now be restricted to 10 persons, including those who are involved in ministry (priest, cantor, etc.). First Holy Communions and Confirmations will need to be postponed at this time.

Communion Services

Join us for in-person communion services on Saturdays from 4:00 – 5:00 pm, and on Sundays from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. Pre-registration required. Please pre-register at this link.

NEW! Silent Prayer

Our church will remain open daily for silent prayers Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Preregistration is required. Please pre-register at this link. As you preregister, please be conscious of your neighbour by not taking all the spots every week. Out of the 4 days available you may take a maximum of 3 days so that others may also have an opportunity to pray.

Fr. Marijan will be available for the Sacrament of Reconciliation/confession in the office, on Saturdays from 4 - 4:45 PM. No appointment needed unless you would like to meet at another time. (If so, please contact the parish office to make an appointment.) This Sacrament helps us to be in the state of grace and to receive Holy Communion well.

Pre-registration links

Please use this convenient single page to preregister for all our in-person events. Simply click hereOr, if needed, call the office to register yourself to attend.

As many continue to have reasonable concerns about attending public Masses during the pandemic, our 11 Sunday Mass, daily Masses and Way of the Cross will continue to be live-streamed and saved on our YouTube channel.

Welcome to Corpus Christi's parishioner community website

This parishioner site is a "private social network".  Located at 1810 Queen Street East in The Beach in Toronto, the parish of Corpus Christi is home to a vibrant, active Catholic community. The Church was built in 1927 and was declared a heritage building by the City of Toronto in 1973. In addition to beautiful stained glass by Italian-Canadian master Guido Nincheri, the church houses a mural by the Canadian painter William Kurelek whose works also hang in the AGO. The Choir of Corpus Christi is one of the best kept musical secrets in Toronto. Every Sunday at 11 am, this talented amateur choir under the baton of musical director and organist Paul Dick, leads the congregation and visitors in beautiful liturgical music as the Mass is celebrated. Corpus Christi was assigned the school chaplaincy for St Denis Catholic School in 2014 during the tenure of then-pastor Msgr Bianco and these duties are now carried out by our current pastor Fr Marijan. Bishop Robert Kasun oversees the zone in which Corpus Christi falls.

New parishioners, please be aware that becoming a member of this parishioner-run community site is not the same as parishioner registration.
